Tangible Tunes is built around a simple idea. Music is meant to be experienced, not just consumed.

A woman with short blonde hair wearing an orange sleeveless top and beige pants, sitting on a cushioned bench, writing in a notebook, with a large leafy plant and abstract artwork in the background, and sunlight casting shadows on the wall.

We believe in art you can hold. Records, books, tapes, CDs, and handmade pieces that carry weight, texture, and story. In a world that moves quickly and lives online, we’re interested in slowing things down. Sitting with a full album. Returning to something more than once. Letting music exist as something that stays with you.

This is not just a store. It’s a space for discovery, context, and connection. Alongside what we sell, we share writing, perspectives, and stories that give music more meaning. You might find a record here and then read something that changes how you hear it. You might discover an artist through someone else’s experience. The goal is not just to find something new, but to feel it more deeply.

We’re especially focused on creating space for smaller and emerging artists. The ones not being pushed to the front. The ones building something real. Through curation, storytelling, and promotion, we want to help bring their work into view and connect it with people who care.

Right now, this begins as a digital storefront. But it’s meant to grow. Over time, we’re working toward expanding into more physical spaces. Recording, collaboration, and intimate live experiences where music can be heard, seen, and felt all at once. A place where artists and listeners exist in the same room, not just on the same platform.

At its core, Tangible Tunes is about connection. Between people, between mediums, and between the music and the life around it.
